The Abbreviated Biography of Matthew Arnold Hughes.

Matt Hughes* (b. June 23, 1974) was raised in Dubuque, Iowa on a steady diet of corn, pasta, and stuffing sandwiches. He’s the middle of three boys and has a twin brother named Jon.**  Matt is a graduate of Senior High School (’93) and Luther College (’97, English & Africana Studies).  He’s managed to keep his thin physique through cross country, marathons, martial arts, and just darn good genetics.

In 1999, Matt wed the Stephanie Luzum. She has since changed his life by introducing him to farming, organic food, and gardening. They have two children – the cat Tim Tam and the dog Tucker – and live in Northeast Iowa.

Matt currently writes a mix of Science-Fiction and Fantasy and is a alumni of Viable Paradise XIII.  ‘Asymonte’, the title of this domain, is also the title of his first work, an epic fantasy.  He is currently at work on ‘Genie Memories’, a sci-fi thriller.  He also writes a variety of non-fiction on technology, food, health, and writing among other topics.
